Imagine a romantic location, paired with the local OBX Manteo girl marrying her guy, bohemian style. The Outer Banks becomes the perfect backdrop for this beautiful wedding. The bride, Winborne, comes from very local stock – Manteo, North Carolina. She decided to have her wedding in her “little slice of paradise” (her Grandma’s backyard), which is reminiscent of the old, classic, Nags Head homes that only generations of locals own. Winborne, is an artist at heart, which you can see in every detail that she created. The ceremony was blessed by Pastor Jamie Smith, a long time friend of the couple. Camp Cocktail was there to setup unique drinks, paired with food from Ortegaz Restaurant and Catering, topped off with sushi by Taiko, a local OBX restaurant. The backdrop was added with a tent, tables and chairs, and dance floor from Metro Rental, Ocean Atlantic Rentals and Distinctive Event Rentals, which complimented the bohemian vide she was going with. To top off the night, the Soul Benefactor band, straight out of Boone, NC, was there to get everyone shaking, along with Soundwavz DJ to give some more funk to the night. A delectable cake by Cindy’s Kitchen, from good ol’ Kevin’s Gas Station in Amoco in Barca, NC sweetened the night. The wedding was magically coordinated by Carl Curnutte, also a local, who has been her friend since growing up in Manteo.
