Locals weddings are a gift and it’s such an honor when a couple trusts me to photograph their love during their special day. This is Kelly and Brian. Kelly is just so down to earth that I felt like I had known her for ages the day we met, and school teacher, Brian is down to earth and a working man. They moved to Hatteras Island during Covid and the rest is history.

They made sure to combine their lives into their dream wedding day. Custom silk pj’s, a fully stocked bar, antique furniture, and special love notes speckled the grounds. The tables were creatively named after places they had visited during their long courtship. Even their doggy babies had custom collars. When they contacted me and said they were to be married at this historic house nestled back in Manteo off the causeway has a naturistic vibe, I knew we were going to have an epic sunset session. The sound at this location is perfection for a glowing and perfect sunset every…single…time, so at the end of the evening, we all hiked down to the water to enjoy every bit of it.

Kelly and Brian created a perfect dream wedding with their “Savvy” coordinator Debbie. It was not just for them, but for their whole group of friends and family so they could show what a magical Outer Banks evening is all about. It’s such a special day and we are so honored to photograph this wedding that came together so perfectly and effortlessly.
