Taylor + Tony

Taylor, Tony and I met at their sunrise photo session a couple of mornings before their wedding. I just love doing this free session with my couples as it really helps them to relax and I get to know them so well. The beauty of the Fall light was in full affect that morning and carried on to their wedding day. I was immediately enamored by the raw emotion and endless love they showed for each other. I asked them how they met. “Online” they both chimed in. “Yes, there is hope for our single friends!” they exclaimed.

They decided to have their wedding at the Black Stallion house in Corolla which fit their “Star Wars” themed wedding perfectly. These two self-professed Marvel character geeks brought the theme straight to their wedding. They had real life Storm Troopers invite the guests to the reception where they performed guests. The belly laughs were real. I love how Tony brought his families Covid 19 family tradition of Bingo over zoom to the wedding so that guests that could not attend could be a part of the event in real time. Yes, they actually played Bingo at their wedding y’all! In a magnificent way, they somehow brought classic and candid beauty together with a cinematic perspective. It was a perfect balance.

Taylor only has a brother in her family, whom danced with her, followed by tear jerking toasts about her parents. There was not a dry eye in the house. Memories, tears, dancing, endless laughing and quite a large ending with guests jumping into the pool. They wanted it all, and that is exactly what they got!
